HILLSBOROUGH RIVER - DOWNTOWN TAMPA

Julian B. Lane Riverfront Park is a stunning 25-acre park located just north of the University of Tampa and across the Hillsborough River from the David A. Straz Center for the Performing Arts. Located less then 10 min from the Stop N Pick locker location, Julian B. Lane Riverfront Park offers ample parking and boat ramp access to the Hillsborough River near Downtown Tampa.

Just up river and across, is Armature Works, a popular destination for food, drinks, and outdoor festivities, including live music and outdoor market places throughout the year. Armature Works has parking and boat ramp access as well and is only 10 minutes from the Stop N Pick locker location.

Further south, on the Hillsborough Bay, you will find Ballast Point Park. It features a 600-foot pier, a splash pad, picnic areas, a boat ramp and much more! See stunning sunrises over the Hillsborough Bay and a view of downtown Tampa. The Taste of Boston restaurant offers food, snacks, and bait. Ballast Point Park is 15 min south of the Stop N Pick locker location.

Falls Lake State Recreation Area

Falls Lake State Recreation Area is a collective of seven access areas scattered around the shoreline of this undeveloped, 12,000-acre reservoir. More than 300 campsites at four of the access areas offer a range of outdoor experience from RV hookups to primitive tent camping and group camps. There are five swim beaches in the recreation area and a number of boating ramps, some reserved for paddlers and non-gasoline powered boats. The Beaverdam access offers a network of mountain biking trails as well as a separate and quiet lake impoundment perfect for paddling, fishing and swimming. The Mountains-to-Sea State Trail winds through parts of the recreation area and is a centerpiece of a network of hiking trails.
